So I left off on Monday with the Disneyland goodies, so here’s some more from Disney that I didn’t put up for you to feast your little eyes!
We stopped in the Candy Palace to look at all these treats! If you’re ever in Disneyland, you have got to stop in this little shop even just to look around. But…you’ll most likely be tempted to pick up one of the yummies inside.
These cookies are so big, they look like scoops of ice cream!
The cookies…I just have no words.
The candy apples were just too awesome. The somehow manage to make EVERYTHING Mickey-themed!!!
Even the lollipop stand looked pretty. oh gosh…I’m a total food blogger.
Chocolate Turtles in the shape of Mickey, how is that even possible!?!
Okay break from food here for a second, how about a couple beach shots?
Hopefully you all aren’t too jealous, heck I know some of you probably have the beach all year right by you!
We finally got to the beach Monday and headed out to a second one yesterday.
Here are some shots of all the yummy treats and funny little things they were selling in the Manhattan Beach Creamery.
The cookies were just too cute, I used to always get ones like these at a bakery by our house in the shapes of smiley faces.
Pretty macaroons, mini tarts and parfaits!
Cupcake bandages, uh hello? How come I have not heard of these and don’t have a lifetime supply?!
Abe Lincoln bandages, I gotta love these as a Illinoisan.
A drink flavored like peanut butter and jelly? Eh… not sure how I feel about that one.
Breakfast floss…Hm, I wonder if my dentist would approve of this? Fun fact: my uncle is my dentist!
Chocolate boyfriend. Okay, now I could get on board with this one!
I split a cookie ice cream sandwich dipped in dark chocolate with my mom. Oh my gosh…so GOOD. If you are ever around here you have got to try it! The cookies they use are just absolutely perfect for the ice cream sandwich. The cookies are so chewy and yummy!
The one we went to yesterday, we got to rent these super cute old fashioned bikes with the high handlebars. I’ve always wanted to ride one of those, so that was pretty fun! It’s funny to see how different peoples’ personalities are here, everyone is SO friendly!! However, the traffic is crazy and driving around is like being on a roller coaster. But overall, I love it here in L.A. It’s gonna be so, so hard to leave!
That’s it for now! Again, sorry for no recipe
Things will be back to normal around here soon enough!
